While this allows us to innovate quickly, we understand the challenges our users face in adapting projects to align with the latest versions, particularly when solely security updates are required for a specific project.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Having considered your feedback, we're announcing that Directus 10.12 will receive Extended Security Updates (ESUs) for Directus 10.12 \u003Cstrong>until the end of 2024\u003C/strong>. This extended support offers a more flexible upgrade timeframe, allowing you to adopt new features at your convenience, while keeping your projects secure without the immediate need for version updates. ESUs cover security vulnerabilities only, and won’t include other bug fixes or enhancements.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Your security and stability are our main priorities. With this new initiative, you can confidently plan and manage your upgrades while we ensure your environment remains safeguarded against any vulnerabilities.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Only select Directus versions will receive ESUs. However, as we progress to a \u003Ca href=\"https://directus.io/blog/introducing-directus-11\">new major version that revamps our access control system\u003C/a>, Directus 10.12 seemed like the right version to start with.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>This announcement is really a testament to the maturity of our project as it stands in 2024.
