It's an independent audit of our infrastructure, policies, and procedures by third-party auditors. We partnered with \u003Ca href=\"https://www.a-lign.com/\">A-LIGN\u003C/a>.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>SOC 2 is developed by the AICPA and evaluates how cloud service providers handle security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Basically, it's a framework to make sure companies aren't playing fast and loose with your data.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Type II is the more rigorous version. But it forced us to formalize practices we were already following and identify areas where we could improve.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>And yes, SOC 2 compliance will be helpful for conversations with prospective customers. But our core intention of achieving SOC 2 compliance is because it was the \u003Cem>right\u003C/em> thing to do and stand by. We have grown tremendously the last few years, and a verbal commitment only goes so far.\u003C/p>\n\u003Cp>Now, we’re walking the walk, not just talking the talk.\u003C/p>\n\u003Ch2>What's Next\u003C/h2>\n\u003Cp>Compliance isn't something you achieve once and forget about.
